I returned to the AT on April 7, after a night at the BeeCh Hill Hostel near Troutville, VA, followed by a lovely breakfast. Central (I think he only uses his full trail name of Central PA on formal documents) had been on the trail for a week, and was ready to coach me after my cautionary cardiac rest.
