North Shore Rapist Graham James Kay is facing fresh charges of breaching his supervision order by meeting with sex workers in the days and hours before he allegedly attacked a 16-year-old girl in a busy Sydney shop.
Seven new charges will be laid when the 73-year-old faces court on Thursday over the alleged assault on the schoolgirl, when he was being supervised under the strictest possible conditions, including an ankle monitor and schedule of movements.

They all centre around failing to comply with the Extended Supervision Order (ESO) imposed by the court to manage the notorious sex offender’s behaviour last year. Kay spent almost two decades in prison after attacks on eight women and girls in the late 1990s.
Police from the Sex Crimes Squad ESO team allege Kay saw a sex worker and exchanged almost 100 messages with her in the two weeks leading up to the alleged attack on the teenager at Chemist Warehouse on George Street in late February.

He arranged to see a sex worker for a one-hour $330 session the same day he allegedly grabbed the girl. Kay also allegedly hid his relationship with a sex worker, failed to disclose home visits, and associated with a person he knew was under 18.
Kay was arrested at his Blacktown apartment hours after the alleged attack on the schoolgirl, and has been held in custody on one charge of sexual touching without consent.
The rapist allegedly grabbed the girl, police say, in full view of CCTV, other shoppers and her friends.
The new charges, if proven, will mark breaches against each of his three ESOs.
